Drs. Cirillo and Rojas will be introducing participants to mental health treatment using psychedelics. We will provide an overview of the field and discuss potential benefits of psychedelics for mental health and mental well-being.
Learning Objectives:
Participants will be informed about the specific mental health conditions that have been effectively treated with various psychedelics; learn about some “off-label” benefits of ketamine assisted therapy and some of the key differences between recreational, medical and indigenous uses of psychedelic medicines.
Bios:
Dr. Cirillo has a deep interest in the use of psychedelics for healing and personal growth. He is particularly passionate about the use of plant-based psychedelic medicines within Indigenous cultures, where they play a central role in life transitions, spiritual growth, and personal guidance. Dr. Cirillo also enjoys a regular meditation practice and believes strongly in the potential for individuals to break free from limiting thought patterns, allowing for growth, fulfillment, and a happier life.
Dr. Rojas has been impassioned by the potential of psychedelic assisted psychotherapy as a pathway to promote psychological healing, meaningful interpersonal connections, and appreciation for the natural world. She has particular interest in assisting the healing of individuals from diverse backgrounds with experiences of trauma, including the impact of generational trauma.
Chrysalis Healing Center is a small collaboration and we close events once they are full. For this reason we are unable to issue refunds for cancellations received less than 48 hours prior to the event.
